BCM is taking our long history of working in Theatre for Development and launching a unique theatre program where students will be trained in writing and performance. They will be taught devised theatre techniques, write their own drama, and perform it for friends, classmates, and parents. We have seen how the widespread use of social media has ironically left teens feeling lonelier and more attention-starved than ever before. Through personal attention, involving one-on-one mentoring and small group formation, students will receive an invaluable opportunity to discover and explore important issues facing their society and generation while building deep friendships and learning important life skills.
